1. About TradeCalibrate

TradeCalibrate (“the Platform”, “the Service”) is operated by TradeCalibrate, an Australian sole trader (ABN 54 708 344 981) (“Operator”, “we”, “us”), based in Australia.

TradeCalibrate is a trading psychology simulation tool. A free tier is available, and an optional paid “Pro” subscription unlocks additional analytical features. The Platform exists for educational, entertainment, and research simulation purposes only.

2. Acceptance of Terms

  • Nothing on this Platform — including but not limited to Trading IQ scores, Decision Quality scores, trader archetypes, fused metrics (such as fusedTilt, fusedOverconfidence, fusedLossAversion, fusedCalibration), Prop Firm Readiness scores, retest consistency analyses, cognitive bias detection, emotion-behaviour analyses, or any other output — constitutes a recommendation, opinion, or suggestion regarding any financial product, trading strategy, investment decision, or psychological treatment.
  • All outputs are generated by experimental algorithms applied to simulated gameplay data. They do not reflect your real-world trading ability, psychological state, financial situation, or suitability for any financial activity.

  • All metrics, scores, archetypes, analyses, and outputs may be inaccurate, misleading, incomplete, or incorrect. You must not treat them as reliable, validated, or scientifically proven.
  • The Platform may change, be updated, reset, or discontinued at any time without notice. Features, scoring algorithms, round limits, and available data may be modified or removed without warning.
  • Your account data, gameplay history, scores, and progress may be lost, reset, or deleted at any time due to updates, bugs, or operational decisions.
  • There is no guarantee of availability, uptime, performance, or data preservation.

6. Simulation Only — Real Trading Risk

REAL TRADING INVOLVES EXTREME RISK

  • TradeCalibrate is a simulation only. No real money is at risk within the Platform. No real trades are placed. No connection to any brokerage, exchange, or financial market exists.
  • Real-world trading and investing in financial markets involve substantial risk of loss, including total loss of capital. Past performance in any simulation does not indicate or predict future real-world results.
  • A high Trading IQ score, positive archetype, or favourable metric on TradeCalibrate does NOT mean you are ready, suitable, or able to trade real financial markets profitably or safely.
  • You acknowledge that if you choose to trade real financial markets, you do so entirely at your own risk, and the Operator bears no responsibility whatsoever for any losses you incur.

7. Intellectual Property & Proprietary Methodology

All aspects of TradeCalibrate are the exclusive intellectual property of the Operator, including but not limited to:

  • The Platform’s source code, design, user interface, and architecture.
  • All proprietary algorithms, scoring methodologies, and analytical frameworks.
  • The metric fusion engine, including all 12 fused composite metrics and their signal weightings.
  • The 8 trader archetype classification system and its scoring formulas.
  • The Trading IQ scoring system, its 6 domain weightings, and composite calculations.
  • The Prop Firm Readiness scoring methodology.
  • Retest inconsistency detection, emotion-behaviour incongruence analysis, perception experiment design, and all other analytical systems.
  • All 99+ base metrics, 96 dashboard metrics, statistical scoring models, cognitive bias detection algorithms, and trait scoring systems.
  • All scenario data, chart images, and labelling systems.
  • All branding, logos, names, and content.

These constitute trade secrets and confidential information of the Operator.

You must NOT:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code, algorithms, scoring logic, metric formulas, or signal weightings of any part of the Platform.
  • Copy, reproduce, replicate, or create derivative works based on any aspect of the Platform’s methodology, metrics, archetypes, or analytical systems.
  • Scrape, crawl, systematically download, or extract data from the Platform using automated means (bots, scrapers, spiders, or similar tools).
  • Build, develop, or contribute to any competing product, tool, or service using knowledge, techniques, or insights obtained from TradeCalibrate.
  • Share, publish, or disclose proprietary algorithmic details, metric formulas, or scoring logic to third parties.
  • Use the Platform’s outputs to train, fine-tune, or develop machine learning models or AI systems without express written consent.

The Operator reserves all rights not expressly granted in these Terms. Breach of this section may result in immediate account termination and pursuit of legal remedies available under Australian law, including under the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth), common law of confidence, and equitable remedies.

8. User Data Licence

  • You retain ownership of any personal information you provide (such as your username and email).
  • By using the Platform, you grant the Operator a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, analyse, aggregate, and publish your anonymised and de-identified gameplay data (including decisions, timing, emotion selections, and computed metrics) for the purposes of improving the Platform, conducting research, publishing aggregate statistics, and developing the analytical methodology.
  • Anonymised data means data that cannot reasonably be used to identify you personally. Your username and any personal identifiers will be removed before any external use.

9. Disclaimers & Exclusion of Warranties

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Operator from and against any and all claims, demands, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to:

  • Your use of the Platform.
  • Your breach of these Terms.
  • Any real-world trading, investment, or financial decisions you make, whether or not influenced by Platform outputs.
  • Any claim that you relied on the Platform as financial, trading, investment, psychological, or professional advice.
  • Your violation of any applicable law or regulation.

12. Acceptable Use

You must not:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform, its systems, or other users’ accounts.
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Platform without express written permission.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Platform’s operation, servers, or networks.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
  • Use the Platform to harass, abuse, or harm others.
  • Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise Platform security.

13. Subscriptions, Billing & Refunds

  • Pricing: Current subscription pricing is displayed on the Pricing page. The Pro tier is USD $19.99 per month at the time of writing. Prices are exclusive of any applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST, which Paddle will add at checkout based on your billing location.
  • Billing: Subscriptions auto-renew each billing period until cancelled. Paddle is the Merchant of Record and will charge your selected payment method.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel at any time via the customer portal link in any Paddle receipt, or by emailing support@tradecalibrate.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.

14. Account Termination

  • Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 15) shall survive.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
  • Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Australia, and you irrevocably submit to such jurisdiction.
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by agreement.

16. Modifications
